GEISTE! It’s great to have a chat! We love your music as you well know. We’re keen to know about your live shows, what does a GEISTE live show usually bring?

People together and emotions… hopefully. I have played so many different shows in terms of the crowd and their behaviour. Sometimes people just stand – looking at me in the eyes and all I can give are raw feelings and emotions, sometimes, they scream and dance and then I can go crazy on stage. I miss it so much. Now that I talk about it.

What part of the musical process do you enjoy most, and why? is it performing live, creating your tracks or..?

My favourite part is creating the tracks. It takes me a while before starting the music, as the first thing I do when i write a new chapter is creating a world, a message and a storyline. I like that everything makes sense and linking stories together to create a body of work. When I create the tracks I put all those elements into the song, words, sounds and emotions that I give when I record. It gives my creative process so much freedom as I can let my mind picture visuals , maps or anything related to the story when I write or produce the track. I love playing live too – but it’s such a different setting. Almost the opposite.

Your tunes have been listened to hundreds of thousands of times across the world as Spotify informs us, Spotify is now such a big player in the industry, how important do you think it is for acts?

Spotify is such a great tool for artists in terms of digital listening experience. It helps a lot discovering new up and coming artists through playlisting (editorial and not). I feel that it is a platform that will be able to evolve with the new music listening patterns of people (or shape them? maybe).

If you created a GEISTE festival, and could pick three headliners, who would you go for?!

This is so hard and cruel to make me pick 3 only 🙂
Woodkid, Massive Attack, FKA Twigs

Tell us a little about what your new music is, when should we be expecting it?!
So soon – so soon!

My new single will be coming out on October, 23rd. I called it ‘Alibi; at the last minute but it was called Retrogrades #2 for a while before. Although it is actually the first episode. I wrote it back in France last year during the summer. It was the first time I felt sad leaving my hometown to come back to London. In the storyline it also talks about Utopia in a way. How it feels to come back to reality after creating a whole world I felt safe in for a while before.
