The Velvet Hands are back with new single ‘Star’, another cut of the swagger-filled garage rock’n’roll the St Austell four-piece have become known for.

They said of the track: “Star’ was inspired by someone we met who went on celebs go dating with a genuine intention to find love, only to find herself aghast when the producers started asking her to cause drama. Love was not found but ‘Star’ was.

“It’s a big two fingers up at reality culture and the selling of ones dignity for fame.”

The band are on tour this Autumn, with tickets at thevelvethands.co.uk
