You must be thinking who the hell is this kid Alfie Templeman? Well, the Bedfordshire indie pop newcomer is rising up the ranks and deservedly so belongs in our ICM Ones To Watch 2021 series.
The 17-year-old has been smashing out the indie pop bangers one after another as Annie Mac picks three of his singles as her ‘Hottest Record in the World’ on BBC Radio 1 in a row (‘Forever Isn’t Long Enough’, ‘Obvious Guy’ & ‘Happiness in Liquid Form’) and has co-written with major indie names including Justin Young of The Vaccines and Jungle’s Tom McFarland.
Alfie writes all of his songs from his bedroom which has amassed over 50 million streams combined and reached over 1 million monthly listeners.
2021 could just be the pinnacle of Alfie Templeman’s career. WIth every major publication and radio station backing him all the way, there’s absolutely nothing that’s going top stop this teenager becoming a superstar.
