Liverpool newcomers Venus Demilo have been on the indie rock scene for over a year now, gigging alongside The Pigeon Detectives and More Than Conquerors it’s surprising that they still have a small following.
Their energetic live performance has turned heads and has earned the band media coverage from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and Bay TV.
Founded by Tom Anderson (vocals/rhythm guitar), Reuben Hobson (lead guitar), Christopher Connor (bass) and Ryan Williams (drums), their second single ‘Sophia’ is to be released tomorrow.
The band’s catchy indie rock sound is dominated by infectious vocal melodies, guitar licks and evocative electronic sounds. Just like in single ‘Sophia’. If you’re into Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club then you don’t need to look much further for a new band you’ll love.
