We’ve added yet another new category to this year’s ICM Awards to recognise artists work on a EP.

THis year there has been quite a few good contenders, but we had to narrow it down to three. Check out our nominees below and let us know who you think should be crowned winners?

Coach Party – Party Food

The Isle of Wight band has been on the circuit for a number of years, but they have made a major breakthrough in the last 12 months following them signing to Chess Records and bolstering their indie rock sound. The EP has set the foundations for whats next to come. Can they beat the rest?

Saint Raymond – Solid Cold

Saint Raymond returned in emphatic fashion this year as the artist announced his sophomore album was set for 2021 and dropped the phenomenal ‘Right Way Round’. Callum Burrows knows how to get the listener hooked and his EP Solid Gold certainly did that; it has excellent songwriting, luscious melodies and succulent indie pop riffs. Could Saint raymond take this year’s award?

Zuzu – How It Feels

The Ones to Watch 2020 artist out of Liverpool has made her mark on the music industry in glistening style. The gifted musician has crafted her spectacular grungy and melodic indie rock to perfection over the last 12 months and has built up a huge following (Read our EP review here). She’s even teamed up with fellow female indie musicians Lauran Hibberd and Jerry Williams on music videos and has captured the charm of her adoring fanbase. We feel that this is only just the start and there is much, much more to come. Will Zuzu be our first winner in this category?

The Snuts – Mixtape EP

The Scottish four-piece are flying through this year since they signed to Jacaranda Records as they dropped their official debut EP (Matador is a demo) and announced their debut LP would also be coming in 2021. They are at one of the most pinnacle moments of their musical careers and you can tell they are enjoying every single second of it. Will they be crowned this year’s best EP?

Tom Lumley & The Brave Liaison – Sign of the times

Cambridge rockers Tom Lumley and co have also had calls for celebration in this pandemic ridden 2020 with their EP Sign of the Times (see our review here) and latest cut ‘Better Than This’ (check it out here). Their rampant indie rock is well-defined and jaw-droppingly good. They were also hotly tipped as an ICM Ones to Watch artist this year and it’s fair to say they smashed it.

The EP of the Year winner and all other categories will be announced on Saturday, December 19th from 7pm. Follow us on social media to see the results!
