The Isle of Man’s rising stars the Voodoo Bandits drop a beautiful indie rock single ‘Yesterday’s Jam’.

Creating summery, vibrant, uplifting tones with punchy fast energy that’ll “blow your trousers off” the ICM Ones to Watch 2020 artist are flying through the ranks with a well cohered indie-surf sound.

Following on from ‘Swimming Pool’, the quartet have hit the nail on the head with their new releases. They are well-polished, anthemic and hit all the right notes for becoming a successful band. ‘Yesterday’s Jam’ continues that trend in two-minutes and 46 seconds. Fresh indie pop and driving guitar riffs, this single is destined to be on your summer road trip playlists.

The band is comprised of Ben Donaldson (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals), Charlotte Wilby (Bass), and twins Corey Vaughan (Lead Guitar) and Nathan Vaughan (Drums). They originally kick started Voodoo Bandits off with just Ben and the twins after meeting in their mid-teens at a post-exams party. After a few years of jamming in Ben’s parent’s garage and around the local pubs, Charlotte joined and jumped on bass, completely new to music and pretty much learning on the job.

In recent times, Voodoo Bandits have been working hard to help develop an indie music community on the Isle of Man; creating events and teaming up with fellow local artists and venue owners to promote and build the original music scene on the island. Voodoo Bandits now hope to see further development and to seek opportunities on and off the island, with more music to come.
