Discover: Puppet Rebellion – ‘Cupboards Painted Red’

Puppet Rebellion are keeping their anthemic sound and pushing the boundaries with their latest, ‘Cupboards Painted Red’.

Taken from their 2017 debut album, ‘Chemical Friends’, ‘Cupboards Painted Red’ brings this stadium-ready sound to the ears of fans in what is a nostalgic journey of the genre it depicts.

Puppet Rebellion have had notable achievements over the last year such as: Airplay on BBC Radio 2, airplay on BBC Introducing, support slots with Catfish and the Bottlemen and the Slow Readers Club, and festival appearances at Kendal Calling, Tramlines, Dot to Dot, Blackthorn and Ramsbottom.

When finding a near-perfect song it’s hard to describe exactly which part of it makes it so infectious. The vocals are stand out bliss, engaging and full of potential. Followed by bellowing drums along with a constant riff of the bass guitar in the background, it’s clear to see why this is such an anthemic ensemble.
