Tokyo and Rose deliver catchy and synth-heavy alt rock debut

London trio Tokyo and Rose have burst onto the scene with their synth-heavy debut single ‘Troublemaker’.
Since meeting at university in the capital, Jamie (vocals/bass), Mahnoor (guitar) and Pitt (drums) have spend the past three years crafting and honing their sound and ultimately building up to a debut album which is expected later this year.
Driven by lush bass flicks, ‘Troublemaker’ has crunchy guitar lines and melodic vocals that combine together to form an ultra-modern rock banger. Tokyo and Rose are a unique band with each member coming from different parts of the world brought together by London’s incredibly diverse music scene where they can collectively accomplish their musical dreams.
On the track, guitarist Mahnoor said: “’Troublemaker’ is a song born from the earliest Tokyo and Rose jam sessions. After the band set out to refine their ideas, the result produced a catchy, synth-heavy, alt-rock banger.”
The three-piece have produced a great first track which sets the bar high on what comes next from Toyo and Rose, but we expect they won’t disappoint.
