The Vitrines are the latest punk-rock crave from Southampton

Southampton youngsters The Vitrines have just struck a publishing deal and have just released a snarling post-punk single ‘Something New’.

The 19-year-old duo (Alex Donovan – Vocals/Guitar, Morgan Haynes – Drums) are moving forwards at an incredible pace thanks to their solid catalogue of alternative rock anthems.

Their new track sounds like a mature rock n roll banger, not something you’d expect from teenagers. ‘Something New’ has all the qualities to be a top hit; it’s snarling riffs, punk attitude, bellowing vocals from Alex and and groove laden drumming set the band way out ahead of the rest of the field.

All about making changes and sacrifices when you move away from your hometown, the lads have also got a great knack for songwriting.

The Vitrines will also be playing their rescheduled tour dates during April/May 2021 working alongside This Feeling and signing with Wipe Out Music (Sleaford Mods, Billy Nomates etc), will only give the band that boost they need to make 2021 truly special.
