The Shadowboxers deliver harmonious alt pop

Alt pop trio The Shadowboxers share new single ‘The Slow March of Times Flies By’ which the band say is their “most personal and the most universal song” they’ve ever written.

Hailing from Atlanta the band – Scott Tyler, Matt Lipkins and Adam Hoffman – have spent 11 years producing music together which is an impressive achievement in itself, but have never released an album, until now. ‘The Slow March…’ will be out this Friday (May 29th).

Bridging the gap between classic, harmony-driven melodies and contemporary pop production and R&B rhythms, The Shadowboxers now steps into the future, carving a lane all their own with ‘The Slow March of Time Flies By’.

The soulful and moving single is a pivotal point in a long series of serendipitous moments for the group, The Shadowboxers have finally settled into their own, their new music representative of the trio’s newfound clarity.

Scott Tyler adds: “Its simplicity feels like a return to square one for us, while its delivery feels like a giant leap forward.

“Our career has meandered its way through a decade, and it has felt slow and methodical until it hasn’t.

“While there are many elements of our journey that are completely unique to us, there is no one who can’t relate to the feeling of wondering where the time has gone.”

The trio have killed it Stateside and it’s now their time for the light to shine in the UK. The band have also done an awesome cover of The 1975’s If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know) featuring actor Charlie Heaton on drums (Stranger Things) and James Casey.

The debut album ‘The Slow March of Times Flies By’ can be pre-saved and purchased here.
