The Greyhound Factory return with ‘Genie and the Gun’

The Greyhound Factory have returned with their new single ‘Genie and the Gun’ which is the second of a five-part series.

Based in Cambridge, the quartet’s style of English-Americana rock ‘n’ roll is a double shot of fuzzy guitar-driven glam & garage rock.

Following up on part one single ‘Outside the Frame’, The Greyhound Factory team up again with renowned producer, Piers Mortimer (Deep Purple, Jamiroquai) to conjure a more 2020 sounding T-Rextasy, the track embodies the groups’ playful, mischievous side offering a natural caffeine hit to a fuzzy early morning.

Like if Bruce Springsteen drank Earl Grey, The Greyhound Factory give off bold new notes and a different style of music we don’t tend to see much of. Those juvenile tendencies in ‘Genie and the Gun’ come into their own not only with the lyrics but also the melody – the chorus in particular features about 3 octaves.
