THE CATCH conjure up hard-hitting indie rock

Cambridgeshire-based trio THE CATCH conjure up another hard-hitting indie rock track ‘Worth It’ as the outfit continue to push their sound further.
Jamming together since high school, the Bury St Edmunds band comprised of Adam Levey (Lead Vocals/Drums), Eddie Allen (Electric Guitar/Backing Vocals) and Nyan Horne (Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals) moved to Leeds to study at the College of Music. Looking to refine their modern rock sound, THE CATCH are getting better and better with every release
Influenced by the likes of Foo Fighters, The Kooks, The Amazons and The Wombats, new cut ‘Worth It’ brings out their firmly strung riffs and powerful vocals that bounce off the drumming pattern in perfect harmony.
Recorded and mastered remotely with producer Jake Day at Northacre Recording Studio, ‘Worth It’ is about looking forward to seeing someone you care about after months apart. It is a fairly literal song in the sense that the lyrical meaning doesn’t require much digging.
Frontman Adam Levey said: “The whole drum and bass recordings were accidentally deleted and to be redone – not giving us the best first impression of remote recording – but were glad we stuck with it!
“I love the feel-good factor in this song, the guitar melody is a particular favourite part for me, really drives the song. The middle 8 provides a relatable sense of emotion over the fear of losing someone close to you and that resonates with me as with many others.”
With high energy and positivity are the key messages within this song, THE CATCH are producing well-choreographed songs that have potential to be future anthems. Listen below and leave an ICM Star Rating of 10.
