Strawman & The Jackdaws drop alt/folk debut single

Dublin quartet Strawman & The Jackdaws release their debut single ‘Precious Star’.

The alternative and folk band formed in 2017 on influences from catchy pop atmospheres to heavier distorted riffs, with an always present element of melodic folky lines.

Comprised of Riccardo Ranzani, Michael Reolon, Jacopo Stofler, Meghan McKenna and Louis Younge, Strawman & The Jackdaws have announced a summer Irish tour* that will be followed by performances in Festival in Ireland and Italy.

“Bursting out of the speakers with a vibrant musicality, ‘Precious Star’ is a vivid melding of genres, covering the full spectrum the track flourishes from start to finish with blending vocal harmonies, pulsing drum beats and weaving melodies on guitar and brass,” says the band of the single.
