London indie band Sports Team had their guitars, amps and keyboards stolen today, just hours before they are expected to play at Manchester’s Neighbourhood Festival.
The band are currently on tour supporting Two Door Cinema Club, who had a show at the O2 last night (October 11th) and still have four dates left in Plymouth and Ireland.
The band shared a picture of the suspect and his Volkswagen car as he appears to be taking the expensive equipment out of their van.

Sports Team posted on their Facebook page: “This prick and his mate have just robbed all our guitars, pedals and keyboards out the back of the van. If someone sees anyone selling eight guitars by the Millennium Dome give us a shout.
“Not sure what’s happening with Neighbourhood today, will try to find a way to play.”
Sports Team are scheduled to play at 8pm in Gorilla
News is yet to be confirmed if the band will play at the festival or the rest of the tour with Two Door Cinema Club.
