Scott Boyd: from busker to indie folk-pop musician

From humble beginnings busking on the streets of Melbourne to a fully-fledged musician, Scott Boyd is the true definition of an independent artist and has just released a new single; ‘Restless Heart’.

The Australian musician has been building up a solid fanbase online and has been touring his indie pop and folk infused tunes.

‘Restless Heart’ is a song about learning to relax, and just live in the moment. Written about his twin brother, the song speaks about the good times they shared together driving down to the coast for a surf as Scott explains.

“I wrote the song about the good times we shared together when we used to drive down to the coast for a surf,” he commented. “It was some of the rare moments when we could both relax and just enjoy each other’s company, and not worry about when we would arrive.”
