Retro Video Club return with high-octane indie anthem

Retro Video Club

One of the most exciting bands in Scotland and ICM Ones To Watch artist, Retro Video Club have released a follow up to ‘3AM’.

The Edinburgh quartet’s new single ‘Addicted’ is louder, is bolder and is a well-oiled, growling three-minute song that wreaks of addictive adrenalin juice. As with previous singles, it’s another driving indie anthem that can’t fail to get the crowd bouncing.

Out now on LAB Records, the band finished up a European tour supporting Barns Courtney, before heading out with the Hunna in the UK in April.

“Lyrically it’s a song about being dead into someone,” says singer Liam Allison, “only to find out you’re the person on the side. The second choice.”

To mark the release, the band are set to play three sold-out hometown shows at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s. They are also on tour with The Hunna until Wednesday 10th April.

After holing up in a studio for almost a year refining their sound, the band’s debut single ‘Psycho’ was added to ICM’s The Indie Playlist and ‘3AM’ featured on The Sound of 2018 100-track playlist.

Other spotlight moments for Retro Video Club include touring alongside RedFaces and Blackwaters and festival appearances at Live At Leeds, TRNSMT and Hit The North.
