North Parade drop glorious debut EP ‘How To Be Good’

Alt pop quartet North Parade have returned with their debut EP ‘How To Be Good’.
Featuring some old and new tunes, the London-based outfit are known for a fireball of indie electronica energy that is ready to explode.
On their first single for the release in ‘Keepthingscasual’, it was written on a phone’s note app and music software loops to create an energising sound of high-tempo beats and glorious indie pop.
‘The Now’ is the first to appear on the four-track EP, pushing North Parade in a rockier direction as the rhythmic riffs set the tone as the vocals add pop aesthetic.
The band’s most recent single ‘Someone’ stops the bright and breezy alt pop train in its tracks to bring out mellow vocals and soft guitar flicks as the band search their souls.
Final track ‘An Accommodation’ releases those breaks into anthemic choruses and soaring vocals. A music video for the critically acclaimed single is on the way; directed by the legendary Roger Sargent (Libertines, Prodigy, Fat White Family, Suede), so keep an eye out for that.
Listen to ‘How To Be Good’ now and give it an ICM Star Rating out of 10.
