Murman

Indie rock trio MURMAN have returned with their fourth single ‘Panama’; an anthemic rock gem.

From meeting on Gumtree in 2018 to today, it’s astounding how fast London-based MURMAN have become one cohesive unit, writing love songs about “heartbreak, guilt, fetishism, sexual frustration and the absurdity of life,” says vocalist David Murdoch.

If you follow the ICM Discoveries Playlist, you might have heard ‘Panama’ spinning there last week. The indie number is a heavy, powerful follow up to the catchy ‘Tred Bay’ with shimmering guitar flicks and energetic drums from Abbie Knell who is backed up by Laurence Blundell’s driving basslines.

MURMAN maintain the high energy of their recordings through their raucous live performances. Inspired by some of rock and pops biggest names (IDLES, Foals, The Cure), the band deliver a timeless, emotion-driven soundscape, made of loud guitar hooks and driving bass and drums.
