Modern Age Music Song of the Day: Novacub – ‘Change Your Mind’

‘Change Your Mind’ is the latest single from London quartet Novacub, their first release since 2019 single ‘November’ and EP ‘Future Echoes’.

The band are fronted by Bloc Party drummer Louise Bartle and are completed by Bloc Party founding member and guitarist Russell Lissack, along with Iona Thomas on bass and drummer Tony Alda.

They’re making moves in their own right, with a string of well-received releases through 2019, and live support slots with the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, The Futureheads and Ash.

The new release is a pumped-up powerhouse indie cut which the band say is “for anyone heartbroken or anyone who knows how it feels.”
