Modern Age Music Song of the Day: Kid Kapichi – ‘Household Shame’

Hastings rockers Kid Kapichi have dropped latest single ‘Household Shame’, following on from February release ‘Thugs’ and the band’s largely sold-out headline UK tour.
The latest cut from the four-piece showcases Kid Kapichi’s own brand of power-punk-rock, and is a light-hearted take on young love.
Singer and guitarist Jack Wilson explained: “Household Shame is a sleazy love song. A temporary departure from Kapichi’s usual antagonistic tongue in cheek slurs on current affairs.
“It’s a song about being young, dumb and in love. Referencing space and time as you sit around, getting high in your own world with the one you love. Friends and family start asking questions, but you couldn’t care less.”
Kid Kapichi headline Scala, London on October 23rd. Tickets at www.kidkapichi.com
