Self-confessed ‘dirtbag boyband’ Bears In Tress have released new AA-side ‘Flower Through Concrete’, including single ‘Fresh Concrete’, out now on Counter Intuitive Records.

The South London four-piece have steadily amassed a substantial (and ever-growing) online community of fans with their catchy, relatable brand of emo-pop.

Vocalist and bass player Iain Gillespie says: “On this song I try to encapsulate what spring means to me – not simply the season changing, but a moment for a fresh start away from the glumness the sunless months prior can hold.

“It’s also about finding peace with the fact that happiness isn’t a permanent state, and healing is a journey, with ups and downs a given.”

They are selling out shows across the country, have surpassed 150k TikTok followers with over 3.4 million likes, amassed 55k followers on Instagram, built a burgeoning Discord channel, and have a thriving Patreon model that subsidises releases.
