Hartlepool alt rockers Leopard Rays unleash a huge ball of fire as they share their new single ‘Brother’.

Taking their influences from the likes of Pearl Jam, Oasis and Yada Yada Yadas, this quartet build up their songs on infectious riffs and twisting melodies.

Comprised of Luke Dawkins (vocals), Sean McCloskey (guitar), Tom Pattison (bass) and David Wilcox (drums), Leopard Rays are gearing up for a forthcoming EP.

‘Brother’ is the first to be announced; a simmering slice of Brit-rock. With rock riffs at the ready and enough of a rebellious streak, genuine dangerous edge and a musical swagger to die for Leopard Rays have taken lockdown by the scruff of its neck and are ready to re-emerge to take on all-comers.

From the opening rumble of the bass motif and ferociously rhythmic riffs, ‘Brother’ is about a sibling rivalry which soon transcends into a rollicking ode to non-conformity.

As they follow up on previous single ‘Daydream,’ the quartet layer dreamy guitars and lush reverb drenched vocals mixing a pop mentality with a penchant for a crunching riff when the mood takes them.

Leopard Rays have endlessly toured the county as they continue to grow both musically and in support. Have a listen to the new track below and leave an ICM Star Rating out of 10!
