Keith Mosfet showcases psychedelic twists with high-octane indie rock

Canadian/Irish artist Keith Mosfet is putting a psychedelic twist to his new indie rock tracks ‘It’s You’ and ‘Breathe’ as the musician continues to showcase his creative and engineering skills.

Following on from his 2019 self-produced EP ‘Superficial Hypocrite’, Keith Mosfet used inspiration from impressionist oil paintings and combining his background of electronic engineering to produce something with flair and charisma.

Last months release ‘It’s You’ (February 7th) also shares Mosfet’s softer side. He describes the small moments in which one can fall in love while also encompassing his love of experimental high-energy music.

“When I was writing the lyrics for ‘It’s You’, I wanted to describe the first time I saw her face, the first time we danced, to the first time I saw her smile…Every moment was important and I wanted to put that into this song,” said Mosfet.

The high-octane single has bold riffs and intertwined with psychedelic twists and turns as Mosfet’s vocal effects and layering synthesizers showcase his own unique artistry. You can hear the influences of Joy Division and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard shining through.

‘Breathe’ – released last week – come down in tone to bring out the shimmering symbols and shouting vocals, solidifying Keith Mosfet’s ability to create musical engineering.
