In VideColour begins new synth and hook-ridden rock era

Dynamic synth and rock musician Sam Auckland aka In VideColour has begun a new era of his music craft with single ‘Those Tired Legs’.

It is Auckland’s third release – and first in nearly three years – as the Barnsley-based artist sonically reaches for the stars. ‘Those Tired Legs’ captivates you with a swoosh of lush synths and juicy guitar hooks. Moody and dynamically, the song shifts through themes around an outside perspective on lifestyle choices and interpersonal connections.

Starting with a soft and isolated vocal entry luring you into a false sense of security, this is abruptly switched into an impactful chorus with crashing drums and hook-ridden guitars.

This is just the first of many from In VideColour as more songs are planned before the new year and into 2025. With Auckland’s multi-instrumental talents, his music is designed for vibrant ears. Taking to the likes of Tame Impala, Mac DeMarco and Strfkr, expect an engaging balance of hi-fidelity sounds and cozy lo-fi textures.
