Wigan four-piece The Lathums kick off this year’s ICM Ones To Watch series where you can discover our top 31 artists we believe will have an incredible 2021.
On the back of an already successful 2020 where the indie rock outfit got signed by Island Records, their second EP, Fight On’, reached number 1 in the iTunes alternative album charts, sold out a UK tour and performed on live TV. If that’s anything to go by, strap in as you’re in for a ride.
The Lathums have built up a passionate fanbase who have rallied in their thousands to support Alex Moore (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Scott Concepcion (Lead Guitar), Johnny Cunliffe (Bass) and Ryan Durrans (Drums) on their exciting journey.
With two EPs in the bag, which includes hit singles ‘Fight On’ and ‘All My LIfe’, the band will almost certainly be releasing an album in 2021. Their off-kilter brand of indie rock and acoustics follow in the footsteps of DMA’s, The Snuts and Blossoms. Catchy and funky 70s melodies set them apart from the rest.
