Glaswegian indie rock duo DEAD PONY are next in the ICM Ones To Watch 2021 series as they look set to continue on an impressive 2020.
Comprising of Anna Shields (lead vocals, guitar), Blair Crichton (lead guitar, backing vocals) – supported by Liam Adams (bass) and Aidan McAllister (drums) – they are just one of many rock bands emerging from the Scottish music landscape.
Releasing three singles last year ‘23, Never Me’, ‘Sharp Tongues’ and ‘Everything is Easy’, DEAD PONY have blown us away with their sheer grit and determination. High-octane punk riffs and foot-stomping beats rifle through the speakers as Anna delivers shouty vocals to the likes of Honeyblood, The Van T’s and Calva Louise.
The band have had plenty of BBC Introducing and Spotify Playlist support and that will continue on throughout 2021.
