Manchester’s Children of the State steamrolled their way to success last year but there’s an even bigger surge coming in 2021.

Since making a name for themselves with ‘Big Sur’ and ‘Honey’, the five-pieces infusion of 70s glam rock, 60s nostalgia and electronica has gained fans in the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Radio X’s John Kennedy.

Comprised of John McCullagh, Nathan Keeble, Corey Clifton, Conor O’Reilly and Harry Eland, Children of the State released EP Tragic Carpet & the Magical Wasp Gang from Notre-Dame in November 2020 which has been praised by key industry tastemakers and fans have been craving for more.

The band have just dropped a new video montage for their single ‘Give Up The Ghosts’ featuring time they spent recording in Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios. This is just a taste of what’s to come – check it out below.
