The Oceans by Per Joe Hansen

Danish duo The Oceans share anthemic new indie-pop single ‘Song To Molly’ taken from their debut EP.

Written in the early morning with no nights sleep, Linus Valdemar and Dan Joe are high on life bellowing ‘I feel so alive’ at the top of their lungs.

The song is from their first EP titled ‘EP I’, and for their first adventure, this is a bold and blissful track. The distorted guitars and electronic drums pack a powerful punch to creating something epic, physical and gripping. Then the vocal is totally Britpop, reminiscent of Ocean Color Scene, Suede, Verve.

‘Song to Molly’ is an example of the emotional and memorable music that is coming out of Europe and Copenhagen in particular. So if you have a bit more time to spare, I recommend you go check out the EP.
