DEAD PONY share new single Sharp Tongues

Glasgow post-punk exports DEAD PONY share fiery new effort ‘Sharp Tongues’.

Confident, assertive and dripping with rage, the fearless quartet’s latest effort justifies the excitement surrounding the thriving Scottish scene, as they follow in the footsteps of fellow risers The Ninth Wave and Walt Disco.

The riotous Scottish quartet follow up on the well-received ‘Everything Is Easy;’ a high-octane punk anthem. DEAD PONY are well known for their foot-stomping tracks and ‘Sharp Tongue’ is just the same with screeching guitar riffs and shouty vocals.

Detailing their upcoming release, enigmatic frontwoman Anne Shields revealed: “’Sharp Tongues’ is written about those people who absolutely grind your ears.

“Those people who are hellbent on spreading gossip and starting rumours.

“They are so unfulfilled with their boring lives, that to add a bit of spice they rely on stirring the pot and starting shit with people.

“I bet everyone had at least one-person spring to mind after reading that – and that is who this song is about.”

DEAD PONY are primed for their relentless ascent to the top of Scotland’s musical agenda and beyond.
