ARRO delivers pop sensibility with lush soundscapes

Nashville artist ARRO has released his first single ‘Butterfly’ to feature on his upcoming debut album.
Heavily inspired by classic cinema and with musical influences ranging from Tears for Fears to Bon Iver, ARRO has a distinctive pop sensibility with a soft spot for lush sonic landscapes and beautiful melodies.
‘Butterfly’ is his first release of the year which is about that feeling of someone taking over your every thought, where you can’t do anything to shake them out of your head.
ARRO explains: “I wrote the lyrics in five minutes as I was standing in front of the microphone trying to figure out a melody, everything just came together at once.
“Usually I would be sceptical at first and attempt to rewrite and edit, but this felt right from the start. What you hear is exactly what I originally wrote down in the first session.”
The short number at just under two minutes follows on from ‘Beauty Queen’ and ‘Peter Pan’ with a wonderful soft rock sound and soulful and echoing vocals from ARRO.
Having worked as a producer and songwriter for other artists in Nashville since graduating from college, the musician is looking forward to finally sharing his own body of work. Listen now and leave your ICM Rating out of 10.
